what can you tell us about david petraeus's testimony this morning? >> i think he gave us a very candid assessment of his initial thoughts based on the best intelligence when he originally briefed us and how the assessments changed over time. and i think he and others have completely debunked the idea that there was some politicization of the intelligence. there's never been any substance to that charge. i can only surmise that, you know, this was a campaign era attack and some of my colleagues just can't let it go. all the evidence to the contrary they just can't seem to let it go. you know, people respected what he had to say today. many of us value the contributions he has made to the country and are sorry to see him go but, again, there is simply no there there. yes, they made errors in their initial assessment. that is going to happen. we have binders full of the raw intelligence. we can see why those errors were made. we can also see why they changed and improved their assessment. there is no great mystery. >> were you satisfied with what david
